If I had to choose to get my girl diamonds or pearls, I would go with pearls. This is because pearls seem a lot more classy to me than diamonds do. Also, everyone in the world does the diamond thing way too much.
This lovely double-stranded gemstone bracelet was created by Susan using grey pearls and round hematite beads. Double strands can be attached only at the clasps which means they will move apart from each other. This designer chose to keep the strands together using two holed metal connectors.Susan infused some colour into her design with amethyst coloured seed beads as spacers. There is an interesting detail here which may be missed at first glance. Most beaders would have alternated the pearls with the hematite. Not Susan. She chose to keep each gemstone to its own side compensating for their disparate sizes with tiny seed beads. There is a slight asymmetrical impression which gives this design a unique feel.Beader Design # 211
